Executive Director's Message - Jenny Berg
JOIN US:

Join us for our virtual Leadership Council Annual Meeting on April 30th, 9-10 am. One of our core values is being responsive to membership needs so we want to spend most of our time hearing directly from you. The Leadership Council is here to serve your needs, so join us and provide your input. In addition, we will share elements of our strategic plan and our progress against that plan over the past year. Register here for the Annual Meeting.

THANK YOU:
“Exemplary leaders search for opportunities by seizing the initiative and looking outward for innovative ways to improve; and they experiment and take risks, constantly generating small wins and learning from mistakes.” Jim Kouzes & Barry Posner

Jeff O’Neil and Jim Hudson are such exemplary leaders.
Jeff O’Neil is entering his 6th year of board service for Leadership Council, having served as board chair for the last two years, and chair-elect the prior two years. Jeff has been instrumental in the areas of governance and strategic growth of the Leadership Council, and we thank him for taking on this important role as Board Chair. We are glad he’ll remain as a board member for one more year as Past-President!

“It has been a true honor and privilege to serve as Board President for the Leadership Council. I’ve especially enjoyed the tremendous growth and development of programs that support our nonprofits as well as the invaluable experience of learning alongside Jenny Berg and our talented and dedicated board of directors.” Jeff O’Neil, CEO of Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health.
Jim Hudson is rolling off after serving six years on the Leadership Council Board. Jim led the way to a partnership with Barnes Dennig, Association for Fundraising Professionals, and Leadership Council to produce the annual Nonprofit Summit. In addition, Jim has been a tremendous influence on the BOLD curriculum committee for two years ensuring we offer a great BOLD product.

"It’s been a privilege and honor to be a part of the Leadership Council’s board for the past six years. I’ve had a front-row seat to participate and watch the LC experience tremendous growth under Jenny’s leadership both in terms of number of members, but more importantly impact and influence on our nonprofit community in our region. Myself and our team at the DSAGC will continue to utilize the LC as a trusted resource to help us strive to accomplish our mission and vision. “ Jim Hudson Executive Director of Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati

Thank you Jeff & Jim for your leadership.

Jenny

BOLD class dates are here.

If you are available to host a BOLD participant to observe your meeting please complete this form. All information will remain confidential, and the observer will be making notes on this observation sheet.

Forever Kings
I am Jordan Bankston and I am the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Forever Kings Inc. We are a nonprofit organization that exists to challenge the social norms, explicit biases, and stigmas associated with Boys and Young Men of Color in grades 4th - 12th. Our goal is to empower our young men to re-define, re-shape, and re-imagine the outcomes by ensuring that they graduate high school on time and are prepared to enlist, enroll, employ, or become an entrepreneur. I started Forever Kings after 10 years of working for and with several other youth-serving organizations within the City of Cincinnati. I am daily thankful for the opportunity to invest in the lives of the young men we serve. Read More
