April 2023
Executive Director's Message
On April 11, we held the first installment of the "Better Together" series in collaboration with AFP Greater Cincinnati, Interact for Health, OneSource Center for Nonprofit Excellence, and Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio. 75 people heard from UC's Dr. Michael Jones and Annie Hugenberg about the economic outlook for nonprofits post-COVID. There has been a lot of interest in continuing this discussion, including AI trends that they discussed. Our next event will be July 18 on Measuring Impact. Stay tuned to all the partner organization's communications for registration information.

Thank you to series sponsors Interact for Health and VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm!

Nonprofit Resources
Mutual of America presents the Community Partnership Award to recognize exceptional U.S. nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership by fostering partnerships with public, private, or social sector leaders to create cohesive communities for the greater good. The national award-winning program will receive the Thomas J. Moran Award, which includes $100,000 and a documentary video. The Frances R. Hesselbein Award recognizes a partnership that is addressing social challenges in multiple communities or has the potential to be replicated in other areas and comes with a prize of $50,000. The remaining four honorable mention recipients also receive $50,000 each. Check out the award guidelines and application.

Be sure to check out Interact for Health's open funding page for upcoming deadlines for Advancing Health Justice and Amplifying Youth Voice grants.

Bookmark the event calendar from our friends at Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio. They offer great content throughout the year!

Check out Nonprofit Hub’s Cause Camp in September. This year’s conference is in Ohio near Cedar Point (in case you’re a coaster fanatic!), making it more accessible for nonprofits in our region. If you register, use the code ElizabethB to get $50 off.
