More great news – we were thrilled to receive our first grant from the Carol Ann & Ralph V. Haile, Jr. Foundation. The grant will support our ongoing leadership and professional development programming and growth that benefits hundreds of nonprofits in our region. The very next week, we heard that First Financial Foundation had approved a grant to support BOLD!

On Sept. 24, we will present an accelerated version of BOLD, designed especially for people who care about serving Northern Kentucky's nonprofit community. We will fast-track your knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board members, review legal and ethical considerations, and hear real-world stories from nonprofits working in Northern Kentucky communities. We will work with participants following the session to help connect them to board and committee openings in our Northern Kentucky communities. The program will be held from 5-8 pm, to enable more people to attend outside the work day. Register here.

NKU’s Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project

A Fall 2024 class at NKU will look at professional map-making for spatial data visualization and exploration. We are looking for community partners to help us teach our students. We would like to invite applications from nonprofits (or programs within nonprofits) that need professional mapping support. This class is part of NKU’s Mayerson Student Philanthropy Project. One non-profit organization will be selected by the students to receive a $2,000 grant to support implementation of a mapping project or a program that the mapping project supports. The deadline to apply is 5:00pm on August 20.
