Executive Director's Message

February continues to bring challenges and uncertainly for nonprofits, there’s no denying that. What gets me up in the morning is knowing that we are working together to continue to make our communities better. Many partners and sponsors have asked what they can do to show their support. If you are a board member, friend, sponsor, or funder, please ask the nonprofits you support what they need. Your advocacy, additional time for scenario planning, a cup of coffee, moral support, cash – these are all things we need right now.

We will continue to find resources to share with our members to stay up to date. It’s hard to keep up with all the news but I’m summoning my Gallup “Input” strength to gather info for you and provide the highlights and opportunities for action. Here are a few resources for you to bookmark:

Stay tuned for additional opportunities to network with each other and get timely updates from our expert partners.

We’re here for you,

Beth Benson

Executive Director

“The most important thing board members can do right now is to understand how proposed federal changes could affect the nonprofit they serve, whether immediately or downstream. Work with staff to understand what they need now, and how you can help with contingency planning.”
