September 2022
Executive Director's Message - Beth Benson
As we swing back into our program year, the calendar is chock-full of opportunities to connect with and learn from each other. In September, our Leaders Circles kicked off with 16 peer groups and 150+ participants. This coming week, we have our first in-person Leadership Challenge at Camp Joy since 2019. On Oct. 12, along with our partners Barnes Dennig and AFP Cincinnati, we present futurist Suzanne Smith at the Nonprofit Leadership Summit.

One of the most exciting developments is our new home at UC Digital Futures. An open house last week brought 100s of people in to tour this new center for research and innovation. UC Office of Research invited Leadership Council, along with our members and new neighbors Elementz, Green Umbrella, and Mayerson Academy, to be tenants in the space. We believe it will open opportunities for collaboration among nonprofits and the university community, as well as others in the Cincinnati Innovation District and beyond. We're happy to give you a tour any time! We are very grateful to past ED Jenny Berg for laying the foundation for this partnership.
Spotlight On: ResultsLab
In 2022, we launched Impact Circles, in partnership with ResultsLab. This program was designed for our members to connect and collaborate on ways to embrace data to drive decisions, strengthen programs and demonstrate impact.

ResultsLab is a woman-owned social enterprise that propels organizations, communities, and networks to the next level of impact through quality design and effective use of data. They are reinventing impact management by providing coaching and capacity building through Impact Accelerator and Impact Manager services.

They have worked with social good organizations of all sizes from large scale state and government agencies and nonprofits, to smaller community-based grassroots organizations and have hands-on practical experience across many sectors - locally, nationally and globally.

Clients that partner with ResultsLab are more confident and equipped to engage with data. They have team alignment and a clearer understanding of their program goals, desired outcomes, and how to measure and use data to deepen impact. Together, they develop a culture of learning that is sustainable – driving growth and transformative change.

Ways to engage: Join us on December 14th for our next Impact Circle. Also, coming soon - ResultsLab's Impact Collective, a virtual meeting place for nonprofit changemakers like you, eager to connect, collaborate and do more with impact data to spark change. BOLD for P&G + upcoming cohort registration
In August, we were delighted to present an accelerated BOLD course at P&G. Employees who wanted to learn more about bringing their expertise and passion to nonprofit boards heard from our expert speakers on the basics of governance, legal and ethical issues, fundraising, and more. We are working with the grads to help connect them with a nonprofit board or committee to apply their learning.

Meanwhile, quarterly BOLD cohorts are going strong. BOLD 11 graduated this week and registration for BOLD 12 is open until Oct. 7. Dates for all 2023 cohorts are now live. For all the details, visit BeBoldCincy.org!
