ABOUT:


The New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) is pleased to announce the 10th cohort of the Leadership Development Program (LDP) for addiction professionals from across the continuum of care. This program will help attendees to integrate effective leadership practices into their workflow using a range of learning methods including a learning community, intact small group work, ongoing feedback from peers and trainers, role plays, learning partners, and case studies.


The LDP is designed to allow each participant to learn and develop their leadership skills as quickly and effectively as possible. The LDP offers a safe, supportive learning environment to allow each leadership program participant to reach their individual leadership development goals.


This 10th cohort will be offered as a hybrid program, consisting of both face-to-face (F2F) and virtual components. The F2F components will be delivered in Concord, NH, and Worcester, MA.

Module 1, April 29 - 30 - F2F at NH Audubon, Concord, NH - Welcome, Individual conflict and leadership styles, and cultural intelligence


Module 2, May 9 - Virtual - Organizational Culture


Module 3, May 14-16 - F2F at NH Audubon, Concord, NH - Group Development and Leadership


Module 4, May 23 - Virtual - Organizational Systems


Module 5, May 30 - Virtual - Leading Change


Module 6, June 12 - 13 - F2F Co-Located at Summer School, Worcester State University - Application of Skills

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:


This intensive technical assistance training has been approved for 58 educational credits. The New England Addiction Technology Transfer Center is a National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) Approved Education Provider (#62652). Learn more.

PROGRAM COSTS:


A major portion of the program cost (approximately 65%) will be covered by the New England Addiction Transfer Technology Center (ATTC) and the Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC). The participant fee, which will cover the remaining balance of the program cost, ranges between $850 and $1450 per participant, depending on lodging needs and varying expenses. Participant fees must be covered by each program participant and/or each participant's sponsoring organization. The previously mentioned participant fee is only for Region 1 (New England) applicants. Applicants outside the New England region will be responsible for all program costs.

MEET OUR TRAINERS

Peter Smith

MBA


Peter is the lead developer of the LDP and an expert in leadership development. Since 1988, Peter has worked as an expert organizational consultant with senior managers, management and work teams, committees and work groups to help them achieve the results they want.

Lori Weaver

BA, MHSA, COD


Lori is the Deputy Commissioner at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) with a strong focus on training and leadership development across all levels. Lori has 30 years of demonstrated expertise in achieving shared organizational goals and objectives.



Haner Hernandez

PhD, CPS, CADCII, LADCI


Haner is originally from Puerto Rico, is bilingual and is an expert trainer with over 30 years in the health and human service field. He brings expertise developing, implementing, and evaluating culturally and linguistically competent health prevention, intervention, and recovery support programs.

Ginger Hobbs Lever

Ed. D.


Ginger brings a career in individual and organizational development guided by the philosophy that learning is a transformative experience that occurs in the social context of the community and the workplace. Her professional experience includes leadership development and community engagement in education, nonprofits, and government.
