Arts practitioners and artists who have been experiencing housing instability, or are having trouble making rent payments as a result of the coronavirus pandemic are not alone. Federal, state, and local governments are offering help with housing expenses and avoiding eviction. USArtists International Offers Grants for Virtual Performances
USArtists International supports performances by U.S. dance, music, and theater solo artists and ensembles invited to perform at important cultural festivals and performing arts marketplaces anywhere in the world outside the United States and its territories.
This grant program has recently expanded to accept applications for virtual performances (live streamed or pre-recorded) at eligible international festivals. USArtists International grantees reflect the vibrant diversity of U.S. artists and creative expression in the performing arts.

ICYMI: $5,000 Artist Fellowships to be Awarded in Literary Arts: Poetry
The Virginia Commission for the Arts (VCA) has announced the opening of its 2021-2022 Artist Fellowship program, this year highlighting Literary Arts, and most specifically, POETRY. All eligible Virginia-based poets are encouraged to apply.
Five (5) Artist Fellowships in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded by the Commission to recognize the creative merit of individual Virginia artists and to support their pursuit of artistic excellence. The application deadline is October 1, 2021, at 5 PM
