LPP Updates
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my departure from Leadership Pikes Peak on November 12th. I did not arrive at this decision lightly as I have genuinely enjoyed being a part of Leadership Pikes Peak and our amazing group of alumni, donors, sponsors, and partners. In my role as ED, I’ve used my professional and educational experience to develop the organization into one that I am sure will continue to leave positive marks on the lives of many in the Pikes Peak Region. I am excited about the future of LPP and I am very grateful for the role I have been able to play over the past twelve years as a program participant, steering committee member, Signature Program Manager, Executive Director and alumni. As many of you have heard me say, I would not be in the position I am in today if it were not for my participation and involvement with LPP. It is an organization that I am truly passionate about and will always have a piece of my heart. It has been my privilege to lead LPP through an important period of transformation and growth. We have a remarkable staff and dedicated board of directors; I am proud of what we have accomplished together. I would like to express my thanks to all of you for being a part of something that is helping to shape our community.

On a personal level, I have shared a special bond with all of you and I am happy to be able to take that away with me. I wish all of you great success in the future!

With gratitude,

Dr. Hillary Reed

A message from LPP's Board of Trustees:

It is with great sadness (and excitement for Hillary) that we announce our Executive Director, Dr. Hillary Reed’s, departure from Leadership Pikes Peak. Her dedication, creative thinking, and organizational leadership skills propelled us through the Covid Pandemic without missing a beat. She is a true leader and will surely be missed. Hillary is making the decision, as many in the workplace have done over the last year, to focus her time with her family and work as a consultant remotely out of state. As we have all learned over the last year and a half, human life—and time, are so incredibly precious. We as a Board, wholeheartedly support her decision and have pledged to help her in any way we can to make this transition successful for everyone.

Please join us in wishing Hillary the absolute best in her future adventures!
