Leadership Summit is this Saturday, August 7 beginning at 7:30am.

Please remember that we are meeting in Edwardsville/Glen Carbon this year. Location information is below.

If you are eligible to vote for the Nominating Committee Ballot and have not yet done so, please take the time to do so today. The ballot closes tomorrow!

We will be located in The LeClaire Room (Lewis and Clark Community College, the N.O. Nelson Campus). 600 Troy Road, Edwardsville, IL

Carpooling will be available to The Bridge FMC for the Ordination Service (see below for information on The Bridge FMC).

The Ordination Service will begin at 5pm.

The Ordination Service will be held at The Bridge FMC, 50 Kriege Farm Rd., Glen Carbon, IL (2.5 miles from The LeClaire Room). Carpooling will be available for those attending Leadership Summit from the LeClaire Room.

Bishop Cowart's sessions on "The Free Methodist Way", Supt. Tolly's "State of the Work" and James Clark, Vice President of Public Safety & Community, Metropolitan Urban League of St. Louis. The Ordination Service will also be live-streamed.

Leadership Summit and the Ordination Service will also be recorded for viewing afterwards.

Stole Information for Ordained Pastors

and what to wear

Wondering what is appropriate to wear?

Business Casual is the answer.

Ordained Pastors, please remember to bring your stoles with you which will be worn during the Ordination Service.

If you will be attending Leadership Summit and have not yet received a stole, you will be able to pick one up at Leadership Summit.

The Lunch Break is from noon-1:30pm. Although lunch is not offered, there will be sponsored luncheons available from:

Childcare Information for Saturday Evening

We are pleased to provide complimentary childcare starting Friday afternoon for the Ordination Service at The Bridge and the Dinner afterwards at the LeClaire Room.

Childcare will be provided through The Bridge FMC for infants through grade school children. Children may begin arriving at The Bridge FMC at 4:30pm and will be picked up after Dinner (please plan to pick up your children no later than 9:15pm). They will be provided with a pizza dinner (if your children have food restrictions, please feel free to bring items they will be able to eat).

Please RSVP to [email protected] with names and ages of children who will need childcare by Wednesday, August 4. An e-mail with more detailed information will be sent by Friday afternoon.

COVID-19 Protocols

We will use an honor system for Leadership Summit.

If you have been vaccinated, you will not need to wear a mask. If you are not vaccinated, we request that you wear a mask unless eating.

Individual packets of hand sanitizer will be available at tables and we will also have face masks available.

These protocols are subject to change.

Report Information

"Work of the Day" Reports will be available in printed form at Leadership Summit.

These include Board of Administration reports, MEGA report and Nominating Committee Ballot results.

Nominating Committee Ballot was sent via constant contact to those eligible to vote last week. If you have not yet voted, please take the time to do so today.
