LEADERSHIP TEAM NOMINATIONS AND VOTING

During our Annual All Church Celebration on Dec. 7, Legacy Church members will be voting-in new members to serve on our Church Leadership Team.

You do not have to be a member to attend this event. You do have to be a covenant member to vote for the Leadership Team nominees.

The Church Leadership Team must work very closely with the Senior Pastor and the Ministry Pastors to bring accountability for accomplishing the mission, vision, and spiritual maturity of the church.

We ask that you would read about the nominees below, pray for them, and for the direction of Legacy Church.

LEADERSHIP TEAM NOMINEES

PATSY WEINBERG

My name is Patsy Weinberg, and my husband Mike and I have been members of Legacy for 30 years. We have two amazing daughters who grew up in our church. Cassie lives in the Houston area with her husband, Garrett, and Olivia moved back to Plano after college and has been active at Legacy ever since.

I have had the joy of leading and serving in almost every area of ministry, including 7 years on the very first Leadership Team. Twenty years ago, I felt called to create the Pastor's Intercessory Team, which is a group of people who faithfully pray for our church pastors and staff, and I am so very thankful for my team, who have caught this vision to join me. In addition to leading the PIT Crew, Mike and I co-lead our fabulous Life Group, I sing in the choir, I volunteer in the church office on Mondays, I'm a member of the Precepts class, and I just joined the Connect Team. I love serving our church and helping our staff in any way I can.

In addition to serving our church, I love to cook, workout, read, travel anywhere with Mike, do puzzles on my phone, and keep up my Duolingo streak.

TRAVIS NELSON

My name is Travis Nelson, and I have been attending Legacy for 3 years. I currently serve as a Life Group Leader and volunteer in other areas of the church, wherever there is a need.

I work with artificial intelligence, leading efforts to design and deliver agentic AI solutions that help organizations operate more effectively.

Outside of church, I also mentor individuals in both professional development and personal growth.

My wife, Paige, and I have three wonderful daughters: Madison (14), Landry (12), and Emery (11).

TERESA KRISTOF

Hi, I’m Teresa Kristof, and I have been blessed by Legacy church since the summer of 2017. The Lord led me here during an adventure from an unplanned move from Garland back to Plano. Then, He kept me here during another

unplanned move out to Granbury for a year and a half. And – yes, it was 1:45 minutes one way to church – and Legacy was worth every minute of that drive!

I now serve in Kids Ministry and am on the Commissions Team. I also enJOY connecting with the senior citizens once a month, teaching a bible study over at Sunrise Plano. I am currently still working full-time and dream of the day I retire to do the work I really want to do… Thankful that my son and his wife, and my

daughter and two grandchildren all live less than an hour away. While I won’t say I have “free time”, I do have favorite time… every day with my Lord and bible… at 5:30AM.

I thank God daily for Legacy, our pastors and staff, volunteers, members now, and

the members yet to come!

TIM JONES

My name is Tim Jones, and my wife, Elaine, and I have attended Legacy since June of 2000. Over the past 25 years, we have served in many capacities, including LifeGroup leaders, Kids ministry, VBS, and youth mission trips to New

Orleans. Currently, I serve on the Logistics & Nehemiah teams and manage the

church's IT services.

My wife, Elaine, is the Director of Legacy Church Preschool, a role she has held for 18 years. We love Legacy for the genuine spirit of its members and the way they deeply care for each other.

It is truly exciting to witness the Holy Spirit move in such a powerful way week after week.
