It is our pleasure to introduce the two candidates for a three year term on the Leadership and Nominations Committee. Candidates will be confirmed at our Fall Congregational Meeting, scheduled for Sunday, Dec 13, 2020.
Cindy Lorentson Cook joined All Souls approximately 31 years ago. She served on the Board of Trustees and on the Personnel Committee. For a couple of years, she and son Justin participated in the Fall retreats, and remembers crawling through Wolf Cave (while feeling claustrophobic), chowing down on the Schrementi‚Äôs spaghetti dinners, and the warmth of togetherness.

Her background includes BS & MS degrees from Purdue, and a lengthy career as an HR professional working for a variety Indianapolis area organizations including the state government, and the zoo. Since retiring, she has been actively involved in federal level advocacy with JDRF (a type 1 diabetes research foundation), serves on the Financial Center First Credit Union Board of Directors, and participates in Aspire Johnson County. In addition to her son, Justin, she has a daughter, Collette, 4 grandchildren, and a 5th one due in the spring.
Marty Pearlman has been a member of All Souls for over 12 years.

During this time, Marty has served in many roles including one 3 year term on the Board of Directors and another 3 year term on the Leadership and Nomination Committee.

Marty has also lead several small groups and served on the last Ministerial Search Committee.
