Course Overview:
This class is designed for the experienced Field Training Officer. One of the key elements of success in a field training program is proper leadership from the FTO. Often, programs will train the FTO in the basics of training and evaluation but fail to prepare them as front-line supervisors. The lack of leadership training can be detrimental to the overall development of new officers. This course will prepare the Field Training Officer for the requirements of their leadership positions.
