Background: This week, Qiushi published the text of a speech Xi Jinping delivered on March 30th at the fourth group study session of the Politburo of the 20th CPC Central Committee. The focus of the speech was on study and implementation of Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era (新时代中国特色社会主义思想).

Xi called on Politburo members to be models of ideological education, and emphasized that leading cadres should to lead by example.
