Grand Opening in Lamar County, Texas

Delco Trailers, a leading manufacturer of high-quality trailers, proudly announces the successful Grand Opening and Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held on May 5, 2023. The event brought together more than 200 people to celebrate the opening of their new 570,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility.

TxDot Breaks Ground in Paris, Texas
|
TxDot recently hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony for their new Paris District Headquarters. Along with the new facility comes the retention of 160 high-wage jobs in Paris, Texas. The headquarters will anchor the Gene Stalling Business Park serving Lamar, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Rains, and Red River Counties.

AMETSA selects Paris, Texas

Ametsa Packaging, LLC, is the latest expansion by de Aldecoa, who leads a 3rd-generation group of family-owned businesses, headquartered out of Houston, according to the release. Ametsa will initially focus on packaging of sweeteners and sugar products in Paris.

Jobs announcements, new investments, increased sales tax, and new businesses have given us a great deal to be thankful for in Paris and Lamar County over the last few years. The Paris Economic Development Corporation’s core activities in business retention and expansion, business attraction, and entrepreneurship have led to project announcements by nine companies over the last three years, representing over $300 million in new investment to our community.

Paris Mayor Pro Tem, Mihir Pankaj, to open Home2Suites of Paris, Texas.
"Pankaj’s third hotel and the first geothermally heated building in the area, will also feature a 6,000 square foot community conference and event center, bar, dog park, community trail and electric vehicle charging stations."
