Special National Conference
The SNC is a virtual conference and you can participate from any location. The purpose of the SNC is threefold. 1) Report on your chapter’s progress this year, 2) introduce the slate of officers for the National Council and 3) discuss proposed amendments to the National Bylaws. The focus of chapter conversation will be how you are planning for the undoubtedly hybrid term ahead. The slate and amendments are available for your review in the Guide to Governance. The chapter president is encouraged to serve as the official delegate; but if that is not possible, name another officer or leader to be the official delegate. Advisors are welcome on the call but cannot stand as official delegate. All chapter members are welcome.
Expand Your Professional Network - Serve Nationally!
National President Gail Harrison Corvette has put out a call for nominations for collegiate members to serve on three special national committees in the areas of branding, financial sustainability and member needs.

Please use this form to nominate yourself or other collegiate members who can serve on Mortar Board. We anticipate monthly meetings for one year by Zoom. On each committee are notable experts in the fields of branding, marketing, fundraising, engagement, organizational management and finance. SO.... this is a GREAT opportunity to rub elbows with Mortar Board members who are tops in their field! Let us hear from you before January 15, 2021.
"The Road Not Taken"
Members of the Target chapter at Westminster College missed reading to their friends at Shenango on the Green Independent Senior Living Community, so they created this video to read "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost to them during quarantine!

Mortar Board Week is the national celebration of our Society’s founding. It is a great time to draw attention to your chapter with a campus event. Chapters often plan at least one activity during Mortar Board Week, though some even plan daily activities. Make sure you take advantage of this time.
