The League will be holding its Legislative Affairs Forum in Indianapolis again this year to provide credit unions with the opportunity to gather and hear all the latest information about what is going on in Washington, DC, and at the Indiana Statehouse. The elections have resulted in a shifting political environment, and it remains critical for credit unions to be fully informed and engaged in the process. Please make plans to join us as Indiana Speaker of the House Todd Huston will be speaking to our group. Speaker Huston is a longtime credit union member and has been a tremendous supporter during his time in the House and serving as Speaker. He will be joined at the Forum by our friends from the Indiana Week in Review as well as CUNA’s Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer Jason Stverak who will bring the latest information from Washington, DC. The League will provide additional updates on advocacy efforts. Following the Forum, our annual reception for state legislators runs from 5 - 7 pm and gives credit union leaders the chance to personally interact with their state representatives and senators. The State Legislator Reception continues to be a very important part of the day as we work to build relationships with legislators in the Indiana General Assembly. The deadline to register for the Forum has been extended to January 25.

This webinar will truly touch on all the important issues in connection with processing and closing a home equity loan.
This session will focus on the Supervisory Committee’s responsibilities for making sure the credit union’s financial records are in order and that internal controls are in place to protect the assets of the credit union and its members.
