TAKE ACTION
- Corporations are using the Dark Store Loopholes to avoid paying property taxes, which shifts the burden to homeowners and small businesses.
- Send an email to your Legislators and candidates with the link to the video;
- Link to the video from your website;
- Show the video at a governing body meeting and at your Rotary, Neighborhood Association, Kiwanis, Elks, etc. meeting;
- Show the video as part of a legislative candidate forum (see the August, The Municipality magazine, pg. 7 for more on how to host a forum);
- Send the video to your local reporter;
- Post the video to social media (and tag the League and Counties so that we can amplify your voice)
