Take a Sneak Peek at the MEP100 ST 2110 100G SmartNIC
Macnica will release a groundbreaking 100G SmartNIC solution, for SMPTE ST 2110 in Q2 2024. This collaborative effort leverages Agilex 7 FPGA-based NIC cards and Macnica’s FPGA IP cores, introducing a hardware-accelerated alternative to predominantly software-based solutions. This platform is designed for the most demanding video processing tasks. It offers dual-port QSFP28 network interfaces for up to 100 GbE each, PCIe Gen4 x16 connection with the host server, and up to five independent DDR4 memory banks for local media buffering implementation.

SMPTE ST 2110 Compliant Solution:

Integration with Macnica Media Streaming (M2S) SDK:
The Macnica Media Streaming (M2S) SDK seamlessly integrates with our 100G SmartNIC solution. M2S SDK allows the implementation of software-based SMPTE ST 2110 systems on general-purpose servers. This gateway solution is versatile, supporting “all-IP” workflows for both on-premises and cloud deployments. It is compatible with a wide variety of NIC cards, allowing users to build products with optimal specifications.
