Whether you are starting a new worship service, launching a multisite campus, or starting a whole new ministry, success often rises and falls on the involvement of the laity. In this seminar, Rev. Dr. Ken Nash will teach the best practices for creating and training a healthy launch team of laypersons. You will walk away knowing the pitfalls to avoid and will have the necessary tools to help each person find their place in the new ministry.

Rev. Dr. Ken Nash serves as the Lead Pastor of Watermark Wesleyan near Buffalo, New York.  Over the past several years, Ken has overseen the launching of 15 new campuses/church plants around the country with each of them led by lay persons from within the local church.  Ken has become a frequent conference speaker and coach for various ministries. His lively and creative teaching style will keep you engaged in the material and will give you a desire to live out what you have learned.  He is an avid sports fan and adventurist having recently completed a marathon through the Grand Canyon.  He is married to his college sweetheart and they have four children.

What the Unstuck Group has to say:
We're finding a lot of pastors face challenges in ministry they feel unprepared to address.

A few years ago, we analyzed all of our planning retreat notes from work with hundreds of churches. We found  12 core issues  appeared again and again-and they were the root reasons why these churches got stuck. This course was designed to equip you to win when you face those core issues. It will help you take your next steps as a leader, removing barriers to health and growth in your church. And, you get access to our consulting team to coach you and answer your questions as you take those steps.

Reach 1000                           People praying
Praying to Create
New Places
for
New People
Would you like to pray with 1,000 others for a new movement that will soon be stirring throughout the Conference?
1,000 people will begin praying for the Holy Spirit to do something new in our Conference that will bring 1,000 new people into our churches and faith communities.  I am praying that we multiply new places for new people.
I understand this is a God-sized goal. This is exactly why your prayers are needed!  I believe the Holy Spirit is fanning something big into flame.  Will you add the 1,000 to your prayers?

I believe in the power of unified prayers, especially those seeking to reach the lost.
Please commit to praying for this new movement every day at 10:00am or 10:00pm.  10:00 reminds us of the 1,000 new people who don't yet have a growing relationship with Jesus and a faith community.
