How Your Child's Health is at the Center of Everything We Do at Green Tree Pediatrics
Dear GTP Families,

As many of us in southeast Michigan turn our attention to reopening and re-engaging with the outside world, we want to make sure you know what we have been doing at Green Tree Pediatrics these last few months.

We never closed, we never stopped caring for our patients.

Since March, we have been continuously adapting to changing circumstances and putting safety measures in place to meet the needs of our patients. You can read on our website all the steps we have taken to ensure that you have access to care- whether for sick or Well reasons- in a safe environment.

We want you to know that we at Green Tree Pediatrics will not take our eye off the ball for a single second. We will continue to be vigilant and keep putting your child's safety and well-being at the center of everything we do.

We are in this together.

Sincerely,

Dr Scott Moore and the entire team at Green Tree
Q: My child is sick, but I don't want to leave the house. What can I do?

A: Every Sick Visit Starts as a Telemedicine Visit... if we can successfully manage your child's symptoms and keep you at home, that is a win! If we determine that your child will need to be seen on site at the Chelsea office, we will develop a safety plan and conclude the visit in person at the Chelsea office.

Log into your portal account or call the office to schedule an appointment.
Q: We are supposed to see the doctor for a Well Visit, but I am worried whether it is safe to go the clinic right now. Is it okay to wait?

A: You should not delay care for your child, especially if your child is under 2 years, is due for vaccines, or you have a developmental concern. We have made it very safe for you to come to the office to receive care.

Please visit our website to see all the steps we have taken to safely provide Well Visits.
Q: My child will need a prescription refill soon, but will need a visit first. Can you help with that?

A: Yes, we can help with that by scheduling a telemedicine visit and safely renewing your child's medication.

Call us or log into your portal account.
Q: I am seeing my child struggle emotionally during this difficult time, and I am not sure how to help. What should I do?

A: Call us or log into your portal account. We are here to help from scheduling a telemedicine visit with a physician or nurse practitioner to arranging for a mental health check in from LMSW, Lisa who can work with your family.
