Greetings!
I recently got back from vacation in Sedona, Arizona where I came across this sign (photo, right). It really speaks to what I try to do with Metro Interiors: make your home interior dreams come true. Now I'm back to work doing just that!
I have four major projects that I'm working on right now, and I want to share a small update on each. I hope to have more to showcase in the next newsletter. In the meantime, keep an eye on my
Facebook page to see photos of the progress.
Project 1: My client John is doing a remodel of two bathrooms and part of his kitchen in his townhouse. Embarking on a remodel is a big task—tearing down and building back up. The project has taken longer due to world events, but John has been so patient; he was finally able to move in last month. We didn't want to cut corners, so little by little the project is coming together. So far, everything is painted, new window treatments are in place, and the floors are re-done. Next is new furniture!
Project 2: Have you ever heard of a soaking room? My client in Wayzata is partially retired and no longer needs her office space, so she is converting it into a soaking sanctuary. Picture a crystal chandelier, marble countertops and floors, Kohler tub, and pure bliss. (See actual pictures on my
Facebook page!)
Project 3: My client Loralee has a new home and needed help with furnishings. I can't wait to share more about this project; the new furniture is luxurious to the max. It was hard to get some of the furniture due to the Texas freeze as the foam used for the furniture got ruined from the cold temperatures. But it will be coming soon!
Project 4: The 2021 Art Gallery project at Nokomis Square Cooperative is in full swing and it's looking great. The theme will be "The World Through Art," rather than just "World Art," which the committee felt offered more meaning. I agree!
And on the blog this month, I share my tips for
using crystals to harness better energy for yourself and your space. I'll be getting a new assortment of decorative crystals in the next few weeks, so let me know if you would like to see the shipment; they will sell quickly!
