From the inception, it was clear the implementation of CCR would take a village. The reform has challenged counties to examine child welfare from a multi-disciplinary, systems approach. With this, it was clear the collaboration amongst county departments and providers would be vital in the success of CCR, and in truly improving the outcomes of children and youth. Los Angeles County, quick to realize this, made efforts to embrace collaboration from day one.
The discussion will
outline the journey of CCR in Los Angeles

, as well as with the
local contracted providers
. It will begin with the early days of initial CCR workgroups through current implementation strategies, highlighting both the successes and lessons learned.
