Hello KFS family!
I hope everyone has enjoyed their holiday season so far.
As we wind down 2023, we have been busy preparing for 2024. We believe this upcoming year is going to be the best year we have ever had and look forward to growing in multiple locations. We were very pleased we won multiple Best Places to Work awards (Hampton Roads and Orlando) and received the HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion award for our continued efforts in hiring veteran employees. We will continue to strive to be the best place to work and a veteran-friendly company.
This past quarter we spent quite a bit of time living out one of our core values, "Serve Others." We attended Freedom Fest in Norfolk, VA; participated in the Heart Walk in Orlando supporting the American Heart Association; and were a sponsor for Kick Off for Kids, which supports schools local to central Florida by stocking their food pantries. We also participated in the 13th annual Fairways for Warriors Veterans Day tournament which helps support our nation's combat wounded veterans. In combination, we donated over $14,000 to these organizations. Thank you to everyone who participated or contributed to any of these events.
I hope you all get to enjoy the holidays with your family and friends. I look forward to seeing you at some point in the early part of 2024.

Nearly 500 people gathered at the Caribe Royale Resort on Friday, October 2nd, for the Orlando Sentinel’s 2023 Top Workplaces celebration. This year, a record 116 Central Florida companies were recognized for being top workplaces, having received the highest scores from a survey of their employees conducted by Energage, the Orlando Sentinel’s Top Workplaces partner.

Annual Fundraiser Raises Money for School Food Pantries
|
Knight Federal was proud to support Kick Off For Kids and their annual fundraiser held on September 7 at Rock & Brews Oviedo. The event raised $70,450 to help feed our Central Florida children facing food insecurities.
Whether it was a Facebook donation, event sponsorship, raffle or auction item, company match, sharing the Kick Off For Kids story, shopping, delivering, board members...the list goes on...the only way they can give 100% of the monetary donations towards purchasing food is because of each one of their donors! The need continues to grow as they have three additional schools on their waiting list, so please continue to share their mission so we can get them on their list and the much-needed food for the children in Central Florida.

12th Annual Fundraising Event Raises Money for the Families of the Fallen Heroes of Virginia Beach - Naval Special Warfare Operators (SEAL), Special Boat Operators, and Support Personnel

Members of Team Knight Federal had the opportunity to attend and support the 12th annual Freedomfest held at Camp Pendleton earlier this fall. We were proud to be a gold-level sponsor of this event, organized by the Virginia Beach Fallen Heroes (VBFH).
The event provides attendees with Virginia’s only public Navy SEAL demonstration of their incredible capabilities.
VBFH is a group of volunteers from Virginia Beach, VA, and the surrounding communities. The members have united to dedicate their time and efforts to raise money for the families of our fallen Naval Special Warfare Operators (SEAL), Special Boat Operators, and support personnel.
Their mission is to provide support and assistance to Virginia Beach Naval Special Warfare, First Responders and other branches of the military.

Knight Federal Raises Funds for Veterans
13th Annual National Veteran's Day Golf Tournament Benefits
Fairways for Warriors and Exceeds Fundraising Goal

Knight Federal was proud to be a gold sponsor of the Fairways for Warriors 13th Annual National Veterans Day Golf Tournament. This event raises funds to benefit the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a therapeutic and healing environment for combat-wounded veterans and their families. Chris Baeten, Knight Federal's CEO serves as the Event Chairman and is on the Advisory Board of Directors.
This annual event was held at the Eagle Creek Golf Club on Friday, November 10. The esteemed event raised $255,853 to help support the mission of the charity, which utilizes the game of golf, to offer opportunities for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, combined with strong community support for our nation's heroes as they face the challenges of readjustment to life after combat.
