Hello KFS family!
I hope everyone is doing well. 2023 is going to be a big year for Knight Federal. We are very excited to be celebrating our 10-year anniversary in May. When I look back on all we have accomplished there are many things that stand out:
We have close to 200 employees over 30 programs in 8 different states. We are making an impact throughout the country with our support in the DOD and Intel communities.
We have donated close to $100,000 over the last 10 years to support charities that have personal ties to people we work with and have donated hundreds of toys to kids in need.
We have made the INC 5000 list from 2018-2022 and hope to add 2023 very soon.
We have won the Hire Vets Award from 2019-2022. This is the only federal-level veteran’s employment award that recognizes a company’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development.
We have won multiple awards in Central Florida including the Elite 50, Golden 100, and ACG SMART award, and were recognized by Northrop Grumman as their World Class Team Supplier of the Year in 2019.
These are just a few things that came to mind, but what I am most proud of is the reputation Knight Federal has- putting our employees first and going above and beyond with our customers to deliver superior results with flawless execution. I can’t wait to see what we are able to accomplish over the next 10 years!

OBJ List Recognizes Central Florida's Fastest Growing Companies
|
The Orlando Business Journal (OBJ) unveiled the listmakers among the 2023 Fast 50, the fastest-growing companies headquartered in Central Florida.
The annual list recognizes the 50 fastest-growing private companies headquartered in Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Lake counties. The firms are ranked based on their percentage of consistent three-year revenue growth, between 2020-2022.
Knight Federal was proud to be ranked among the companies for 2023 and announced in the first wave of promotions.

Knight Federal Earns Spot on OBJ List
Ranked #7 of Central Florida's Largest Tech Companies
|
Once again, Knight Federal made the list of the Orlando Business Journal's "Largest Central Florida Technology Companies" - coming in at number 7.
Central Florida’s top five technology companies combined employed more than 1,250 employees, with their combined local revenue totaling more than $423.6 million last year. Three of the companies are veteran-owned, with two being minority or woman-owned. In addition, one of these Central Florida companies holds at least five patents.
The results of Central Florida's technology companies were ranked by 2022 Central Florida employees and Central Florida revenue.

List Showcases Companies with Extraordinary Annual Growth Rate

Guess what? Knight Federal made the list of the 2022 Washington Technology
Fast 50: an annual ranking of the government market's fastest-growing small business contractors.
Companies on the list submitted five years of revenue data and are ranked by their compound annual growth rates from 2017 through 2021. The rankings show a range of companies including those still quite small, alongside others on the cusp of breaking out of the small business category.

Knight Federal Wins ACG SMART Awards
14th Annual Awards Program Recognizes Companies for Excellence
|
Each year, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Chapter of Orlando recognizes companies headquartered in Central Florida whose accomplishments set the standard for operating excellence among middle-market, second-stage growth companies.
The SMART Awards program selects winners by an independent panel of judges, drawn from the ranks of experienced financial industry professionals, business owners and executives, academics, journalists, consultants, and professional service providers. Selection criteria include quantitative factors such as demonstrated growth in revenue, profitability, and employees, and subjective factors such as quality of business innovation, corporate culture, entrepreneurial achievements, product development milestones, and demonstrated community involvement. Companies must also have annual revenue between $5 million to $1 billion.
Knight Federal was selected as a winner for the 2022 SMART Awards held on May 17.

Knight Federal Participates in Workplace Survey
Orlando Sentinel Top Workplace Survey Recognizes Top Firms
|
Nominations are now open for the Orlando Sentinel’s Top Workplaces program until May 6, which seeks to identify and recognize the area’s top firms and what employees say makes them great places to work.
Any company, nonprofit, public organization or government agency with 35 or more employees in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Sumter, Polk, Brevard, Volusia, Flagler or Marion counties may participate in Top Workplaces.
Knight Federal is participating in this awards program. The Top Workplaces process involves having employees complete a short 24-question survey, and those results are rated against similar-sized companies or agencies. Be on the lookout for the survey and we appreciate your participation to complete it.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Sentinel is partnering with Energage as the program’s survey company. Last year Energage collected results from more than 36,000 employees locally.
Based on the surveys, a record 107 companies and organizations in Central Florida were recognized as Top Workplaces for 2022, up from 85 selected in 2021.
Team Knight Federal is also participating in the Top Workplace awards program offered by the Orlando Business Journal as well. Surveys will be sent by their third-party survey provider Quantum.

Knight Federal Raises Funds for Tour de Cure
Event Supports the American Diabetes Association
|
Knight Federal is making a difference in the fight against diabetes! Team Knight Federal was busy in March supporting the American Diabetes Association because we want to make a difference.
We teamed up to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes. We were committed to ride and fundraise together through this inspirational event to not only support the over 37.3 million people in the United States with diabetes, but to champion and honor those we know personally who are impacted.
For over 30 years, Tour de Cure has made an impact on the lives of millions. We were thrilled to exceed our goal this year by 155% raising more than $3K!
When we bring together dedicated team members and generous donors, our power as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.
We were determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time - but thrilled that we exceeded it by so much! Thanks for make a difference together!

We raised more than $5,600 in memory of our colleague and friend, Marquis Poole.
