Greetings Good People,

We've got an important meeting with the Planning Department tomorrow after our 11:00 am Saturday Caucus. The entire community is invited to join us as we walk around some Ward F neighborhoods and talk about the city's proposed changes to the largest residential zone in JC, R-1. We'll meet on the corner of Arlington and Wilkinson Ave at 1:00 pm.

R1 zoning is one and two family housing with a max height of 3 stories and 1:1 parking.

Some of the city's recommendations include:

• Allowing garages to be turned into storefronts
• Allowing corner lots to become restaurants
• Prioritizing lot width over lot depth
