Local Children Donate to LUM Emergency Shelter
Thanks, Purdue Early Care & Education Center
This summer the children enrolled at the Purdue University Early Care & Education Center created a "business" selling coffee & lemonade. The children raised over $140 at their coffee shop & lemonade stand and decided to donate it all to the LUM Emergency Shelter.

Recently Lisa Walter, child care director, and Miss Jelly, lead teacher, invited LUM to their center to accept this thoughtful donation from the children. Eileen Weiss, LUM business manager, visited with the children, graciously accepted their donation, and explained the many ways that LUM is important is to the community. It was a special day for LUM and the children.
