Seeking project partners for our annual Volunteer Week |
Beginning Friday, June 16, through Friday, June 23, Point32Health colleagues will serve together in community during our annual Volunteer Week. Our volunteerism will support nonprofits that provide critical services across the region.
Apply now to host a Volunteer Week activity. The project must accommodate at least 10 volunteers and can be either in-person or virtual. Activities should advance health equity and address the social determinants of health--a priority for Point32Health.
We welcome options that give volunteers flexibility in timing, project size and physical ability. Nonprofit organizations will receive a stipend ranging from $500 to $2,500 (depending upon size and scope) to host a project.
Applications are due Friday, Feb. 24. If you have questions, contact the Corporate Citizenship team.

Reporting back to community
Over the course of the last year, hundreds of community members shared their wisdom and experience through community listening sessions, key informant interviews and focus groups. Our Foundation team also engaged in conversations with hundreds of organizations in the communities where we live and work. These insights and perspectives have helped us better understand what is important to those closest to the issues facing communities and consider how we can participate in supporting solutions.
We will share how these contributions shaped our new strategic plan at a webinar for community leaders on Wednesday, March 29. Click the link below to register. All are welcome.

Celebrating inclusion efforts in Rhode Island | |
The Rhode Island Assisted Living Association (RIALA) recognized Point32Health Foundation with their first-ever DEI Champions Award at their annual meeting on Friday, January 20.

Dr. King’s legacy of service at the heart of colleagues' engagement
Colleagues gathered at Point32Health's Canton office on January 17 for an event commemorating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. CEO Cain Hayes kicked off the program, encouraging colleagues to focus on ways we can cultivate a beloved community mindset and transform unjust systems. Cain reminded us of Dr. King's quote that "of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane."
Jonathan David Dance was the guest speaker. He leads the Edward Brooke III Educational Foundation and spoke about Dr. King’s life during his time in Boston and his work to advance racial and economic justice.
Demonstrating our community of care in action, more than 40 colleagues assembled 300 mental health kits — containing stress balls, journals, coloring books and more — and wrote notes of encouragement for youth and teens served by the Boys and Girls Club of Boston and Dearborn STEM Academy.
