 HiDoc Benefits

Telemedicine can seem intimidating, especially after a lifetime of in-office visits. Our telemedicine service, HiDoc, is not meant to replace treatment from your primary care physician but rather to enhance your overall care experience. Here are a few benefits to consider.
  • Convenience. Are you tired of wasting valuable time sitting in stop-and-go traffic or in a crowded waiting room? HiDoc reduces travel and waiting time by bringing the physician directly to your phone, computer, or mobile device.
  • Relief from Urgent Symptoms. When a fever or cough presents itself, the last thing you want to do is drag yourself out of bed, get dressed, and sit in a waiting room filled with other sick people. HiDoc enables you to speak with a physician from the comfort of your own home, usually within 30 minutes of your request.  In addition, HiDoc physicians can write prescriptions, if appropriate.
  • Access to Care. If you live far from a facility, clinic, or doctor's office, or if you are traveling on the Mainland, HiDoc makes it easier to receive a medical consultation, diagnosis, and a prescription if necessary, wherever you are with NO out-of-pocket cost.
