The GCG Prospects Event is made special each summer because of the passionate coaches that come and work with our talented and motivated goalies. Leading up to the event we will help you get to know the GCG coaches, many of which were GCG Prospects goalies themselves in their playing days.
Get to know GCG Coach Chris Terreri
Chris Terreri is the NY Islanders goaltending development coach and goalie coach for the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Chris joined the GCG coaching staff in 2015 while he was the goalie coach of the NJ Devils.
The 2018 GCG Prospects Event
In 15 pro seasons Chris played 406 games in the NHL with New Jersey, San Jose, Chicago and the Islanders, winning two Stanley Cups with the Devils.  Chris was drafted by the  New Jersey Devils  in the fifth round (85th overall) of the  1983 NHL Entry Draft . He attended  Providence College  from 1982–1986, and was the MVP of the 1985  Hockey East  postseason tournament following a 2–1 double overtime victory over top-seeded  Boston College  at the  Providence Civic Center , and the MVP of the 1985  NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship .

Charlotte Checkers (AHL) goalie Jeremy Smith #59 grabs a knee at GCG Prospects 2004. Jeremy is currently under contract with the Carolina Hurricanes and was a second round NHL draft pick of the Nashville Predators in 2007.
2018 GCG PROSPECTS EVENT
The Stop It Goaltending GCG Prospects Event is a world class week of training that features leading NHL and NCAA goalie coaches and is for elite goalies from across the US, Canada and Europe.
