In addition to providing a rigorous core curriculum that exceeds state standards, Lab believes that preparation for college and career begins in kindergarten. For many students, the "real world" feels like a far-off place, to which they will make a shift at some time when they are a "grown-up." At Lab, we believe that students learn best by doing and that students will be best prepared for the real world by having frequent opportunities to engage with the world outside of school. These opportunities happen in four important ways.
Transcend Education is a national non-profit organization with a mission to help schools and educators move to learning that is equitable and responsive to the demands and opportunities of the 21st century.
