Exciting things are Happening at Lab!
It has always been clear to Charlotte Lab School that professional experience prior to college entrance is a vital part of a student's success. Through this notion, Lab created a curriculum that has fully integrated community-based, career-interest courses within the regular school week. The program is built upon the foundation laid through Passion Project and Quest curriculum at Lab. Read the full article here.

Lab’s Upper School Performing arts program put on a live performance of Shrek Jr. The Musical. There were many elements to this phenomenal performance that made it unique and exciting! Read about it here.

Lab was honored to host a top leader in STEM for a virtual chat with Upper School students. Ms. Afua Bruce, former Executive Director of the White House's National Science and Technology Council is currently the Chief Program officer at DataKind. Summer Reading
Who doesn’t love a great book recommendation? We are pleased to share Lab’s summer reading lists to keep students engaged and reading this summer. Books selected are recommended by grade level and range from classics to modern day classics. Our English Language Arts team works diligently to select books that are rigorous, match levels for the range of reading abilities in each grade, diverse in their representation, and meaningful and engaging for students. Lab is is a One Access partner with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, this means that all Lab students have a public library card associated with their Lab Student ID, giving them built in access to books and resources.
