LAB IN THE COMMUNITY We are so proud of these three Charlotte Lab 10th grade students - they are the North Carolina state winners in the 2021-22 Samsung Solve annual contest, in which students were asked to consider how science, technology, engineering and math can be used to create change in their communities. They’ve partnered with Make and Grow Charlotte to address CO2 emissions in the city and to promote a sustainable, scalable solution to reduce emissions and promote more green spaces. The students have been invited to phase two for a chance to become national finalists in the competition. We can't wait to see what these students do next and are so excited to see them compete in the next round! Learn More About Lab

ADMISSIONS NEWS As a tuition-free, public charter school, all seats at Lab are allocated via lottery, and we are pleased to announce that our APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN for the 2022-23 school year! Applications are available on our website and will remain open until March 25, 2022. Our lottery will be held March 31, 2022, and results emailed to applicants no later than close of school, April 4, 2022. Questions? [email protected] Apply Now! HIGHLIGHT: LAB ATHLETICS

Lab understands the importance of interscholastic athletics in the lives of our students and believes that all students should have an opportunity to participate in sports. Our Cross Country team celebrated a trophy win earlier this school year (left) and more recently our boys and girls basketball teams have both entered tournaments within their leagues.
