"Joey Casey taught me everything I know. I learned to ride and play polo at the same time," said Peter Nathanial, who began playing polo less than 5 years ago. "It's fantastic to play here. Joey is very safety conscious and wants everyone to have a great time playing polo. It's a fun, educational and supportive atmosphere here."
A former 7-goaler, Casey brings more than 30 years of professional polo experience to Palm City Polo Club. In addition to his career as a professional player, his family has been breeding polo ponies for more than 40 years. He is recognized as one of the most experienced American players and horsemen in the sport.
In addition to Casey, PCPC School's Mike Harris is the chief polo instructor. In addition to his extensive polo background, Harris is a well respect ed United States Polo Association A-rated umpire. In addition to teaching riders of all levels, Harris has officiated at some of polo's most prestigious tournaments.
"Mike is one of the best instructors in the country. His knowledge and experience along with our string of lesson horses gives our students a complete package," said Casey.
