SCOTT 6' DISTANCE
GENTLE REMINDERS
Important reminders as we continue to contend with COVID-19 and keeping all safe
  • HELMETS- During this time of COVID, we are not allowed to offer our gold helmets for classes. Please please please be sure to have a bike helmet for your athlete. Best item of protective gear EVER!
  • MAKE-UP POLICY - We know life happens, our classes are full. To keep the quality of instruction, class dynamics, and student to athlete ratio, we do not offer make-up sessions. During COVID, it is also essential to keep our number of athletes on the ice following all CDC local guidelines. Adding 4 or 5 athletes for make-up classes puts a strain on our systems. Please follow this very important policy. Thank you in advance!
  • RENTAL SKATES - Please tuck laces into the skates at the end of your class before returning!
  • NAME BADGES - Important to wear each class, it helps us to get to know your athlete by name, get your athletes to the correct class and in emergency situations should they occur.
TIP OF THE WEEK!
GET THE MOST OUT OF EVERY CLASS!
LEARN TO SKATE CLASSES
We hope you are enjoying the rewarding experience of skating lessons and it's lifelong benefits! Whether you wish to enjoy the recreational benefits of skating or dream of being the next Scott Hamilton, the academy is the place to start! It's where Scott started!

To continue on the path of success, we ask parents and guardians with young athletes to follow a couple of super easy requests!
  • Watch from the bleachers! For your safety and the safety of all athletes and staff!
  • Athletes need to stay focused with coaches. It's important to be on time to avoid distractions. Please do your best to have skates tied and ready to go 10 minutes before classes start!
  • Antioch athletes - wait by Plexi sign in North Rink
  • Bellevue athletes - Beginner classes meet behind the skate rental counter to take attendance before heading to the ice.
  • Face coverings -
  • All athletes in LTS classes must wear a face covering including Hockey classes! Face shields and/or hockey helmets with the clear shield guard are great options if face clothes don't work for your athlete!
  • All parents/guests must have face covering on properly when in our facilities. Thank you!

It's our goal to have all graduate in 4-weeks from their class level, fall in love with the ice and continue on skating for their entire life! Thanks for trusting in us and let's push on through the next 4 weeks of classes!
