Learning Commons Updates


Greetings from the CVCA Learning Commons!


The Learning Commons is a busy place these days. The new iLab is adjacent to the Learning Commons and includes numerous ways to innovate, explore, and create. The iLab is primarily for high school students but may be used by middle school classes. You are missing out if you haven’t been to the iLab. Check it out soon!


The Library website can be accessed through the MY CVCA page on the CVCA website. Look for the Library section under “Academic Resources.”

ACADEMIC RESOURCES

To request/reserve Library materials:

  • You’ll find access to research sites, eBooks, numerous databases, teacher resources, the library catalog, and more. If you find a book in the catalog you want to check out, you may come to the Learning Commons to check it out.
  • To request/reserve a book from the Library’s website, you will have to log in. From the Library’s home page, click “Login.” Enter your “CVCA email” in the username/user ID box (no password is necessary). Select “Request” and then “Submit Request.” You will receive an email telling you when the book is available for pick up in the Learning Commons.
  • You can access databases from the Library page. can be accessed seamlessly from the Library page. Go to the Library home page then to “Databases.” No login is necessary.

To access the information while off-campus, use the following INFOhio log in:

  • Username: cvca
  • Password: royals

The Learning Commons is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. each day.
