She first started as a Daisy when she was in kindergarten. When asked what her favorite thing is about being a girl scout, she said “I love doing fun things with my friends in the troop and I really love cookie season!"
Great job Laci!

In addition to the prizes you can earn online:
Read 300 minutes by 2/13/23 (6pm) and get ice cream at lunch on 2/14/23
Questions: jill@learninggate.org
Strong reading skills are a major advantage in middle school, high school and beyond because they reduce homework time and create more time for sports, band, extracurriculars and/or jobs. Please help us promote literacy for our middle school students by ensuring that they have signed up for the Read A-Thon and are actively logging the minutes that they read.

If they log 300 minutes of reading time by Monday at 6pm they will earn ice cream at lunch Tuesday. If they log 200 minutes by next Thursday, they will be invited to our Camp Read-A-Lot party on Friday 2/17 to celebrate their accomplishment. Students that earn less than 200 minutes will attend their regular classes on that day.

Ask your student to see their account and what they have logged. If they haven't logged in yet, help them do so by visiting  https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/KqREor (https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/KqREor)
