MLEPC Learning Support Pod
As districts in our area have decided to use remote or hybrid learning, we understand that many families may be struggling to find a safe, supervised area for their kids to complete online schoolwork. Our church would like to come alongside these families by offering a Learning Support Pod during school hours. We are limited in the number of students we can accept, so we are specifically hoping to assist working parents that may struggle to afford other options. If your child would like to join our pod, please see the information below and apply by clicking here.

What is a Learning Support Pod?
In this type of learning pod, parents keep their children enrolled in their local public, charter, or private school. The purpose of these pods is to help students better acclimate to remote learning provided by existing schools so that students can learn together and parents can accommodate their individual work needs. Under the supervision of a parent, several parents, or a guardian, students work together on lessons, classes, and activities provided by the children’s existing schools.

MLEPC Learning Support Pod Mission Statement
In keeping with our MLEPC Vision to reach children and their families for Jesus and to follow the command of Christ to care for those in need, MLEPC will support struggling parents during the Covid-19 crisis by offering a Learning Support Pod in a safe, supervised, Christian environment while school districts are requiring remote virtual learning. MLEPC will ensure students adhere to their school district’s synchronous and independent class schedules, while offering faith-based activities to students as time permits.
