We're 3 Days Away from the First Day of School!

The start of a new school year is an exciting time!

At Friendship, students have the opportunity to develop their gifts, grow their knowledge through curiosity and discovery, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Our families entrust to us their most precious gifts - their children. We make sure that our schools are safe places for all children to learn, explore, question, connect, dream, laugh, and grow.

Our educators have an enormous impact on our scholars' futures. They build positive relationships with students, inspire them through engaging instruction, and provide them with opportunities for experiential learning. They create lifelong learners who are prepared to attend and graduate from college.

Without our scholars, families, and educators we would not be Friendship. For 25 years we’ve done this important work with integrity, commitment, and care. We’re elated to be walking into a new school year with all of you!

“Friendship does not survive. Friendship thrives.”

- Founder and Chairman Donald L. Hense.

What excites you most about the new school year?

"I was a teacher for 7 years!

Honestly the best years of my life.

The first day of school was always my favorite. The shiny faces, crisp uniform shirts, beaded braids and fresh haircuts are all nostalgic for me. They bring joy beyond what I can truly express. Watching tearful hugs and reassuring parents that their most perfect gift was safe with me always gave me a great sense of pride and a charge to bring my “whole” self to my work daily. Day one sets the tone. It is our opportunity to show our families that we as a school and community are a part of their village." - Angel Pittman, Elementary Instructional Specialist, Friendship Chamberlain.

Let’s Be Better Together:

The Friendship Way!

Every August, we welcome new team members with a week-long series of events at Friendship Way University (FWU)! This year new team members learned the 25-year history of Friendship, met existing staff and leadership, and engaged with our alumni.

Following FWU, Standards University brings all teachers and school staff to their campuses to decorate their classrooms, plan, and participate in professional learning that will ensure a successful school year.
