Friendship scholars choose new school lunch menu!

Conventional school lunches are a thing of the past at Friendship Collegiate! Associate Director of Food Services, Katrina Fitzgerald, and her team met with five Collegiate Knights for an opportunity to try new lunch menu items. Food services prepared different options for the focus group, including meals like chicken and waffles, chicken cheesesteak bowls and more. Scholars were able to express what they enjoyed and propose ideas for more menu variations in the coming school year. Food services is also exploring the option of an enhanced salad bar using fresh produce from the Collegiate garden! This is just another example of Friendship finding ways to elevate student voice and design with, not for.

COVID-19 Policy Update

Please click here to review important updates to Friendships COVID-19 policies and procedures. Though we will continue to require indoor masks at all of our campus through the end of the school year, we are adjusting quarantine lengths and eliminating the requirement to complete a daily health screening.

News from the FNN Online Book Club

Unknown-3.jpeg

Last month, kindergarteners had a load of fun at Chamberlain celebrating Dr. Seuss with their teachers.  Everyone picked a favorite book to take home and are now busy producing video book reviews. And stay tuned...this summer they’ll be producing their own news channel featuring broadcasts direct from the playground.

Coming the week of June 3...more book parties with free books for all FPCS scholars grades prek-2 and more videos to follow. In the meantime, check out video book reviews that our youngest scholars produced with their parents at home during Covid at codefnn.com/bookclub.
