Greetings!
As I look back at my life, it has become clear, vivid, and without a single doubt, every struggle, hardship, bruise and bump in the road has shaped me to be the woman that I am today. A woman that is merciful to others, compassionate, intuitive, full of wisdom and understanding of what’s really important in this thing we call life.

To see how my struggles have shaped me is taking a trip down memory lane. You see, not many people know that at the tender age of 11 years old, I had to leave my parent's home and live with an adoptive family. Despite my parents being the most amazing and loving parents in the world, raising me was beyond their means and they were without resources. We lived in a neighborhood full of crime and they wanted a better future for me. 

On my own, living with family I never knew, and feeling like an outsider, I dealt with being bullied. I was reminded time and time again, “You don’t belong here!” . With no one to share my cries, enduring that painful experience led me to have the thick skin I carry today. It pushes me to stand up for others, those that do not have a voice and may be going through the same things. Lastly, it taught me that no matter what you go through and where you are, nobody can break you. No amount of bullying, criticism, and put downs can define you, break your soul, or change who you really are.

You are a child of God, a perfect creature unlike any other. No matter what you may be going through, all hardships and bruises you have to endure are the important lessons that are showing up in your life. They are here to teach you something. I hope that this will open your eyes, empower you, and help you remember who you really are.
