If you have asked yourself these questions and would like answers, the Cosumnes River College Office of Philanthropy cordially invites you to attend an Estate Planning Seminar featuring Mark Drobny, Attorney at Law, Master of Laws (L.L.M.), Certified Specialist, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, and member of The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Mark will share strategies for reducing uncertainty in your long-term plans. He will reveal effective and creative ways to ensure the well-being of yourself and your family, while considering Cosumnes River College and/or other charities of your choice in your estate plans.   • How to pay little to no capital gains tax on appreciated real estate and securities
  • Dispelling myths about long-term care, Medi-Cal and preserving your estate
  • Durable Powers of Attorney for Finance and Health
  • Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Accounts
  • ABX 215 / End of Life Option Act
  • If you are married and executed a Trust before the 2013 Tax Act, you may need to amend your Trust before one of you dies
  • If you are widowed and have an existing Bypass Trust, you may want to terminate it
