Need to renew your license or get a REAL ID?
Lincoln Library is hosting a Mobile DMV Pop-Up on Thursday, November 14, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM! Representatives from the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles will be on-site to provide:
- Driver’s Licenses
- State ID Cards (first-time, renewals, duplicates, corrections)
- REAL IDs
- Vehicle registration and license plate stickers
Advance sign-up is required. Only 50 appointment slots are available—once they’re gone, they’re gone!

What's Next for eRead Illinois Users?
As stated, the eRead Illinois collection will soon move to the Palace Project app. This transition will ensure continued access to your favorite e-books and audiobooks with minimal interruption. The Palace Project offers an improved experience, allowing users to access e-books and audiobooks from multiple platforms in one convenient place. It also provides libraries with more flexible licensing options and access to select Audible audiobook titles.
We appreciate your patience as we work to make this transition as smooth as possible. More details and instructions for accessing the Palace Project app will be shared soon.

Fall into LEGOS
This fall, let your imagination take shape at Fall into LEGOs!
Whether you’re a master builder or just getting started, you’ll enjoy an hour of creativity, laughter, and hands-on fun. Build, design, and share your creations with friends and fellow LEGO enthusiasts in a welcoming, playful environment.
If you missed last month’s LEGO building fun, don’t worry—we have two more events coming up, giving you another chance to join in the excitement! Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Spinetinglers Horror Book Club
The Spinetinglers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month for discussion of a different horror book.
This month’s selection: She Is a Haunting by Trang Thanh Tran.

Teens ages 12–17 are invited to our LGBTQ+ Youth Book Club, in partnership with the Phoenix Center at 109 E Lawrence Ave, Springfield.
