LEESVILLE, LA- The Mayor's Women's Commission (MWC), in conjunction with The Keep Leesville Beautiful Committee, will host Leesville's annual Trash Bash and Cleanup Week beginning Monday, April 18th through Friday, April 23rd.

Groups from all local civic organizations, churches, schools or clubs are invited to participate in the event and a little friendly competition. Each group will pick up trash in a specific area of the City and weigh gathered trash at American Moving and Storage, Inc.  At 11:00 a.m., volunteers will return to Liberty Garden Park for a cookout and an awards ceremony hosted by the MWC.

Residents are encouraged to clean their properties and the City will offer a lending hand.  Leesville Public Works crews will dispose of items including tree limbs and boards throughout the week.
