Eagle River Preserve, location of our next Community Land Connection Hike
Last week, we moved the location of our Community Land Connection Hike due to muddy conditions.

What could have been a frustrating experience was in fact a nice reminder that change is coming. A new season is on it's way and with it, new ways to get outdoors and enjoy this special place we are so fortunate to call home.

Do you have a favorite place here in our Valley, and have you ever considered what's required to protect it? Eagle River Preserve is a favorite spot for many in our community, and a fitting location for our next community hike on April 28th. We hope you'll join us.

Our Legacy Festival is also rapidly approaching and Cow Patty Bingo Deeds are now on sale! Please consider joining us on May 13th. Legacy Festival is a fun, friendly and enjoyable way to support our organization and learn more about what EVLT does to protect our most precious lands.

Stay tuned to our website  for coming information and to purchase your Cow Patty Bingo Deeds today.

Next Community Land Connection Hike
April 28th at Eagle River Preserve

Each month we team up with another organization to lead a hike on a public parcel under conservation easement. This series is an opportunity to leverage local efforts to encourage people to appreciate and protect our beautiful home and the wildlife that lives here. Each hike is a chance to learn about Eagle County and ask questions of local experts.

Our next hike is April 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Eagle River Preserve. We are partnering with Bill Andree, district wildlife ranger with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, to talk about living with elk. We hope you will join us.

Participants enjoy the Community Land Connection Hike with Eagle County Open Space officials.
