We have a lot of activities and events going on at Legacy in the coming month. Red Ribbon Week takes place this week through October 31st. We are having a poster contest, ELA essay contest, and school spirit week to highlight drug-free living, the power of positive choices, and mental wellness.
Fall picture day is on Thursday, October 31st. Remember to order your child’s pictures. Also, yearbooks are on sale now! Order information can be found in this edition of JIA.
On Friday, November 8th, we will be hosting Paving the Way to share information with our students about social media safety. Please remember to sign and return the Parent Consent Form that your child brought home.
Our next SAC meeting will be on Tuesday, November 12th, where we will be hearing a few staff members’ proposals for activities and events that will benefit our students. In addition, Paving the Way will be presenting information for parents about social media precautions. Please join us for some food and to learn something that will keep your child safe.
On Wednesday, November 20th we will be hosting Teach-In. If you or someone you know has an interesting career, hobby, or skill, please volunteer to share your knowledge with our students. For more information, please see the flyer in this edition of JIA.

School Advisory Council Meeting
Tuesday, November 12
| | |
|
Student Advisory Committee (SAC) and Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) in its mission of helping students collaborate, innovate, and accelerate our students to success.
Our next SAC meeting of the year will take place on Tuesday, November 12th at 5:30pm in the media center. When parents are actively involved, it fosters a sense of community and collaboration among families, teachers, and administrators. This can create a more supportive and engaging environment for students.
Being part of the SAC/PTSA helps parents stay informed about school events, policies, and needs. It also provides a platform for parents to voice their concerns and ideas directly to the school administration.
