CMM's Corporate team has closed a large multimillion-dollar deal involving a host of coordinated transactions as part of a multi-step process to separate family members from being in business together. CMM's Scott Middleton and Richard DeMaio defined the line between protected and unprotected speech in a recent municipal liability case. A disgruntled former animal shelter volunteer claimed that he was in violation of his First Amendment rights, but CMM's Municipal Liability team successfully dismissed the case on behalf of the Town.
