Every once in a while a console becomes available that is something special, something unique, and something used on hundreds of hit recordings. The Neve 8068 from Stratosphere Sound Studios in NYC is one of those consoles.
Originally listed for $185,000, the owners of the console have dropped the price to $145,000 for an immediate sale. Contact us at 781-982-2600 or info@proaudiodesign.com for additional details, or to schedule an inspection or purchase this console.

| Neve 8068 Vintage Recording Console |
Hailing from the glory days of analog recording, the Neve 8068 is a classic amongst classics. No other console has had as many comparisons and copies created, and for good reason. The 8068 is arguably one of Rupert Neve's finest consoles, and continues to stand the test of time 40 years later. This inline console features 32 input channels fitted with 32 original 31102 modules, as well as an onboard patch bay, and GML moving fader automation (although the automation is not functioning, it may be repairable, and the console functions fine without the automation). The console was modified to feed the rear stereo bus(monitor) into the front stereo bus, giving you 64 inputs for mix down. There is also an insert point added prior to the master fader to allow patching of a Mix-bus compressor. The console was completely recapped in 1999, and has been serviced regularly. Includes all power supplies, manuals and spare parts.

The list of artists who have used this console to make hits is far too lengthy to be included in this email, but if you are interested, you can see a list here
