COUNTIES PREPARE FOR UNPRECEDENTED SESSION
Facing a history-making virtual legislative session, county leaders met over the last two weeks in a series of online legislative updates and briefings to prepare for the challenging 90 days of policy-making set to begin on January 13, 2021. With the cancellation of MACo's Winter Conference - the normal venue for strategizing around the MGA session - counties instead virtually reviewed MACo policy initiatives and heard from experts on topics like solar siting, budget and revenues, and the Kirwan bill (among others). Those meetings were recorded and are available for MACo members only - contact us to receive the links.
