BWC PROPOSES 7.1% RATES CUT IN WORKERS' COMPENSATION PREMIUMS
In the Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) actuarial committee meeting last week, the BWC announced their recommendation to lower private employer premiums by 7.1%.

BIDEN ADMINISTRATION SIGNS TWO EXECUTIVE ORDERS DEALING WITH ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Shortly after the inauguration of our nation’s 46th president, Joseph R. Biden, a flurry of executive orders was signed. In this wave of signed executive orders was the decision to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement and to revoke the Keystone XL Pipeline permit.

OHIO SENATE MAKES FINANCIAL LITERACY A PRIORITY

In mid-January, the Ohio Senate introduced their first two bills of the 134th General Assembly. SB 1 is legislation that would require each student graduating from high school in Ohio to pass a course on financial literacy.
