What we all hoped wouldn’t be necessary became necessary Sunday, March 22 when Gov. Mike DeWine announced during his daily briefing that Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton has signed a "stay at home" order requiring all Ohioans to stay at home except under certain conditions.

DEWINE ADMINISTRATION TO MAKE CHANGES TO UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION SYSTEM AS PART OF CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE
At his Sunday, March 15 press conference, Gov. Mike DeWine announced he will soon sign an executive order that will make substantial changes to Ohio's unemployment compensation system.

General Assembly Schedule for Week of March 23

As of March 23, the Ohio House has scheduled session for Tuesday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. They also have session scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on March 25 and 1:00 p.m. on March 26.

On March 25, the Ohio Senate has Rules & Reference Committee scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and Senate Session scheduled for 1:30 p.m. On March 26 the Senate has Rules & Reference scheduled if necessary at 10:30 a.m. and session scheduled if necessary at 1:30 p.m.
